The Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre is delighted to announce an open call for Chinese dancers, stall holders and creative practitioners to take part in the Lunar New Year celebrations on Saturday 21 February 2026.

We’re particularly keen to hear from dancers, stallholders and creative practitioners with Chinese heritage or cultural connections. We welcome expressions of interest from artists who identify as part of the Chinese or wider East and Southeast Asian (ESEA) community.

We’re looking for talented individuals and groups who would like to run workshops and also form part of the coordinating group in the lead-up to the event or perform as part of our main Lunar New Year celebration day at The Riverfront.

作为Newport Live一部分的河畔剧院和艺术中心很高兴地宣布公开征集中国舞蹈家和创意从业者参加2026年2月21日星期六的农历新年庆祝活动。
我们特别想听取具有中国传统或文化背景的舞蹈家和创作实践者的心声。我们欢迎自认属于中国或更广泛的东亚和东南亚（ESEA）社群的艺术家表达兴趣。
我们正在寻找有才华的个人和团体，他们愿意举办研讨会，並在活动前加入协调小组，或者作为我们在河畔剧院和艺术中心主要农历新年庆祝日的部分表演。
