Good Boost aims to improve people’s lives by getting them moving with gentle water-based and land-based exercise in a fun and social environment. So looking after your health becomes a pleasure, not a chore.
Our aquatic rehabilitation sessions are individually tailored using the Good Boost App, designed by musculoskeletal specialists, and are delivered on waterproof tablet computers that are simple to use, allowing participants to progress through their exercises at their own pace.
The sessions last an hour and consist of a 10-minute warm-up followed by 3-4-minute individual exercises, with fun group activities in-between to help maintain a comfortable body temperature.
You will be given your own waterproof tablet during the session which displays your personalised exercises with clear diagrams and is simple to use.
A member of staff will be on hand throughout the session to support and guide you.
Good Boost sessions are suitable for people with a wide range of health conditions, including:
• Musculoskeletal conditions
• Before and after hip and knee joint replacement
• Hip and knee pain
• Rheumatoid arthritis
The sessions aim to reduce pain, improve strength, mobility and function as well as offer people the opportunity to socialise and be active more regularly.
Please ensure you have completed an assessment session with one of our team before booking this session, this can be booked by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 01633 656757.
