This summer Newport Live has developed the Newport Sport & Wellbeing Hub, an online listing platform to help people find out more about sport and wellbeing activities across Newport.

The resources provided by local partners and organisations will help to support peoples mental and physical wellbeing and inspire them to lead a happier and healthier lifestyle.

The Sport & Wellbeing Hub was created to highlight and promote clubs, sporting organisation and wellbeing services in Newport and the surrounding area. It is free to register and add your sporting listing which will be displayed under a range of categories to make it easier for the public to find what they are looking for.

How To Join!

If you are a local sports club, sporting organisation, offer a mental and physical wellbeing service, support, or advice, run sports sessions in the community or help communities across Newport get involved in sport, we need you!

Join the Sport & Wellbeing Hub at https://hub.newportlive.co.uk/register/ and sign up as a new participant.

You will then be able to create your own account and fill in your hub listing, which features the opportunity to describe who you are, what you do and add links to your website and how they can contact you. The sign-up process takes less than 5 minutes to complete, and once it has been approved will be live online for everyone to explore.

Newport Live would like to include as many of their partners and local organisations as possible on the Sports & Wellbeing Hub and build a database of sport and wellbeing resources that will inspire the people of Newport to be happier and healthier.

You can explore the Sport & Wellbeing Hub and all of its current members here.

If you have any questions or would like any more information on the Hub and the benefits of joining get in touch with us at hub@newportlive.co.uk

The Newport Sport & Wellbeing Hub is the sister hub to the Newport Arts Hub which was made possible thanks to a successful application to the Arts Council Wales’s Stabilisation Fund for Organisation.
