The Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre is at the heart of the arts and entertainment scene in Newport and central to Newport’s regeneration. The Riverfront is open and accessible to all of the city’s population and offers a wide range of activity whether it be a theatrical production, cinema screenings, educational opportunities, creative workshops, physical classes, visual art exhibitions, hosting birthday parties or a sociable place to meet.

The Riverfront is integral to the Newport community and is uniquely placed in the South East Wales region to offer a dynamic programme of opportunities and community projects engaging with some of the hardest to reach and disadvantaged communities in Newport.

How you can help as an Individual…

The best way to support The Riverfront is to choose us as a venue to visit and use and spread the word about the wide range of services we offer. You could donate to our core running costs or community funds by rounding up your purchase and gifting us the excess or by adding to our collection boxes within the venue. We would also love to get your feedback about how we can do better and what shows or classes you would like to see, so if you have any suggestions please email: This email address is being protected from spambots. How Organisations can help…

The Riverfront offers a number of sponsorship opportunities, corporate hospitality options, corporate team building workshops and a growing corporate members club, which is open to businesses of all sizes to show your support to Newport’s cultural life. Whether your company is a long-term supporter of the arts, or has never worked with an arts organisation before, we can provide a tailored benefits package to suit your business.
