Sport & Art Camp is the answer to entertaining your child during the school holidays!

A fun and affordable option for entertaining children aged 5 – 14 years. They will get to try swimming, cycling, tennis, football, basketball, badminton, arts and crafts activities and more.

Sport & Art Camps runs from Monday to Friday 8:00am-5.30pm each school holiday (excluding bank holidays and during the Christmas period) at Newport International Sports Village. 

£27.50 per day or a 10% reduction for a full week if you book in advance.

Sport & Art Camp FAQs

What time to do I have to drop and pick up my children from Sport & Art Camp?

Drop off is between 8:00 – 9:00 am and pick up is at 5:30pm.

What venue do I need to drop and collect my children at?

Newport Stadium is located at the Newport International Sports Village is the drop off and collection point for children attending Sport & Art Camp. 

Is breakfast included as part of Sport & Art Camp?

Yes – breakfasted is served at 8am each day and there will be a selection of cereals, toast and preserves, fruit and a selection of drinks. 

What do my children need to bring?

Your child needs to bring the following items each day:

  • Swim kit 

  • Sports kit (trainers essential, no crocs or sandals)

  • Packed lunch including plenty of snacks and drinks (no fizzy drinks)

  • Appropriate clothing for the weather, both indoors and out (please note: if the weather is poor, children will still require appropriate clothes to walk to the various facilities)

Does my child need a Free Swim card?

Yes, if your child does not have a Free Swim card, they will be issued a card at the time of booking.


Is there any paperwork I need to complete before my child/children attends Sport & Art Camp?

Parents will need to complete and bring with them on their child’s first day of attendance a Camp Registration Form.

Sport and Art Camp is not categorised as childcare and therefore not a CSSIW Registered (Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales) provision. We are unable to accept childcare vouchers.
