Equipment has been spaced out so machines are 2m apart to ensure you can exercise a safe distance from others and to help keep everyone safe.

SKILLRUN - This is no ordinary treadmill! It has virtual settings to take the boredom out of number counting – you can programme it to run on the beach, in the country and mountains. The treadmill's sled and parachute training modes offer controlled resistance to improve one's speed, performance, and strength.
SKILLBIKE - The first indoor cycling bike with gears! Riders can counter the change in resistance and maintain the correct power and cadence for maximum efficiency. The console displays the gear and gear ratio selections in real time.
SKILLROW - State of the art rowers designed to feel like you are rowing a real boat! Select the level of resistance for bursts of pure power or develop endurance with lower resistance.
SKILLMILL - A super fun treadmill that allows you to go from walk to sprint in seconds. You have the option to run, skip, jump sideways and backwards encouraging functional movement. It also ramps up resistance allowing you to practice power exercise such as rugby scrum movements.
Healthy & Active App / Newport Live Wristband
Take your training experience to the next level with the Newport Live Healthy & Active App and Newport Live wristband.
Provided by Technogym MyWellness, the app is the perfect partner to help you workout and improve your wellbeing at home, outdoors or with us at our centres.
Newport Live wristbands harness MyWellness Technology and has been designed for easy login onto the new range of fitness machines at the Regional Pool and Tennis Centre.
The app tracks activities that you undertake both at the gym and outdoors, measuring kilometres travelled and calories burned.
If you would like your own wristband, they cost £11.65 and can be purchased at the reception desk of the Regional Pool & Tennis Centre.
Weights & Indoor Cycling
Free weights including plate loaded machines, half rack, and 1kg – 30kg dumbbells are also available in the gym. A stretching / functional area can also be found around the side of the tennis court if you require the extra space to do more body weight exercises.
There are 10 indoor cycling bikes you can use at any time or join a class, bookable via the pink Newport Live app.
Biocircuit
Biocircuit, a complete training program that fits your body and schedule perfectly. The customizable workout takes 45 minutes and requires no adjustments or waiting time. It is a quick, efficient full body workout!
Biocircuit is suitable for all abilities as the program and equipment adapts to your specific needs when you log in.
